Other than great guitars salute the Star Spangled Banner (GGSSSB) which is found as a dedicated page at this site, there are additional special projects planned to salute the national anthem of the United States of America.

One such project, immediately now getting started, is the push by bernmeister to spearhead a drive to make October 19th (Star Spangled Banner Appreciation Day) in America. The intent is to provide an audio counterpart to the visual which is already established for flag day (June 14th).
{The Library of Congress has established October 19th as the date Francis Scott Key first renamed his poem Defence of Fort McHenry to The Star Spangled Banner – with that poem now set to words, perhaps reinvented as a song (click here). It is also a the day the LoC recognizes that this song was publicly played for the first time before a live audience (click here).}
