Deconstructing what is involved:

The nature of the beast is unfortunately complicated, with several elements involved pertaining to multiple types of content (made available in various delivery options).  Discussed below are different types of content with needed explanation offered.

The use or purchase of bernmeister content (at present copyrighted or trademarked IP [intellectual property]) requires specific paths to get you to the right place so you may proceed as desired.

{Again this content refers to digital media. As is becoming if not already convention, this means you do not own the media as you would have otherwise in prior alternate mediums, such as vinyl. The topic of ownership is further elaborated on below.}

However explanation of the circumstances involved follow, which coupled with the links below will both demystify and quickly guide you to where you want to go to access sales and/or support.

Thank you in advance for your consideration, both as to a purchase and follow up evaluation of my work. A short description of the parameters involved are as follows:

Clarifying Sales

Sales pertains to products being sold; product content is currently and chiefly digital media, but may at a future date be applicable to other media.

Sales also applies to advertising here at bernmeister.com, as well as additionally at other bernmeister owned sites.

Each site would have its own separate advertising operation, so to advertise at a specific site, please specify same when stating interest to advertise with bernmeister.

Sales of course pertains to customer purchases of a product (IP in some form of media). For those who wish to additionally support bern’s good work via (charitable) contribution, a link may be found for sponsor underwrite under the menu bar.

Ownership

Making this just a little more complicated, ownership of MMS content is not being given away, and remains under copyright protection, but use of it is being made available on what is effectively a free will offering basis (with differing levels of suggested pay targets that apply). There are differing levels of suggested free will offering because although everyone would benefit from MMS, the wealthy would benefit more. (This is not because the poor are penalized, but because those who already have more are far more heavily invested in how the international monetary system works, both literally and figuratively.) So the rich are being asked to pay more.

{What is actually being sold and bought, and thus owned, is a unique non commercial license to use the accompanying digital content, which digital media itself is not material that the consumer owns. That’s the basic distinction between today’s MP3s and the like compared to vinyl records of yesteryear.}

MMS content available with this initial release* as referenced immediately above will have this consistent pay structure ongoing. That is, downloadable content will be available for free to anyone who represents they can’t afford to pay by electing to take a free copy. It is hoped enough people will be standup and contribute a token amount, with millionaires and billionaires being asked to tender 5% and 10%, respectively, of current net worth, with some smaller amount [a standard yet to be determined] additionally (which ask is appropriate based on the premise that the significant benefits of MMS, which are possibly historic, will be ongoing).

There is a glitch in the ideal design of how this was originally drawn up, in that the ask was to be after significant confirmation of the academic validity of MMS is established. However, the COVID-19 pandemic along with an intensified climate crisis have forced an early release. Hopefully serious attention made to evaluation of MMS, coupled with it serving everyone’s best interest, will prompt most to consider at least the lion’s share of such commitment.

* “MMS content available with this initial release” refers specifically to the 3 page at a glance snapshot, and the 28 page primer. It does not refer to other works that may be released later which are further discussion on the topic of MMS, which works when released are likely to be marketed alternatively.

MMS also, unlike other content, has a further unique twist. Pandemic or no pandemic, the above plan to seek support for MMS as above described with those benefiting the most paying the most, remains the primary game plan. (This is overarching in addition to other revenue streams, such as if/when MMS is adopted, to then receive an ongoing royalty or other commission from any government utilizing MMS [at which stage bern’s theory has become a real-world invention]. Reaching out directly to the end user/consumer is the preferred priority.) The twist is the added dimension of repurposing.

In a nutshell, the idea is bernmeister’s re-purposing will immediately loan net proceeds on MMS earnings (principally the so called 5 and 10 club initially, but likely also to some extent later on from the general public as well) to governments on the condition such loan would be used to fight COVID or climate change, or in the opinion of  bernmeister take on some other significant problem. In return bern would get tax free bonds or other acceptable debt instruments, and agree not to cash them in promptly, holding off and pushing the maturing date of them until at least 1 year after the COVID-19 pandemic [or other significant crisis] is essentially, if not completely defeated. The key idea with re-purposing, by the way, is not only to fight any such significant crisis but reduce pressure for hyperinflation by taking existing dollars in the private sector and make them available to the public sector. This strategy helps reduce the need for governments to print up more money, which without increase in goods and services is inflationary.

[Because of the degree and intensity of the lack of economic vitality caused by the pandemic, which has yielded not even the same but actually a reduced number of goods and services forced due to shutdown, all are at risk of worldwide hyperinflation, not just inflation. Although there has been some improvement in the U.S. under the current Biden administration, which is making a robust effort to not only reignite but extend the American economy, the pandemic has thrown the entire world “for a loop” and a continued dedication of will to intelligently face our collective problems head on remains needed.]

The ensuing complication from re-purposing is the need for a receipt and release. Long story short, this is because bernmeister, participating as a Good Samaritan, and possibly not guaranteed to be legally protected universally by any law of the same name, must have a legal device which protects him from not his conduct, but decisions made by those governments he will have funded through repurposing.

Hence an actual receipt and release is part of the process to obtain the initial MMS content (the snapshot and primer) while offering a voluntary supplementary payment for either.

As to non MMS content, such as sale of entertainment IP, specifically via license authorizing permission for non commercial use of music, bern hopes to aggresively invest most of the net proceeds there to fight climate change.

For the above reasons, an implied receipt and release is noticed here and additionally under the “Legal” and “Terms” sections of this site found at the footer. This means regardless of whether or not you formally and officially acknowledge a receipt and release of bernmeister via an expressed instrument at the point of purchase, you have at this site been herein noticed that bernmeister may in his sole discretion utilize a portion of proceeds generated in connection with his intellectual property, to any degree whatsoever, to be made available to any third party for any purpose whatsoever, and you consent that bernmeister is and will at any and all times be held harmless in any and every manner possible, from any and all results or consequences thereof. Further, your sole remedy, if any be allowed under law, is restricted to your singular option, to not acquire, or pay to obtain any right of conditional use to any intellectual property sold or distributed by bernmeister. (You agree this is so whether or not it is restricted to you alone regardless of whether or not it may be construed as applicable to any other party.)
